Initial calibration of X axis at 3.3V
(Easy axis pointing north)

The X axis of the HMC1053 on the ADCS board was calibrated in accordance with the procedure described in ‘Electronic testing and calibration of the ADCS (V3)’ with the exception that the circuit was only rest at the beginning of a set of readings instead of between every reading. Initial calibration of the x axis in the coil has produced a 3.9mV per Gauss change, which can be seen from the graph in figure 1.

This leads to a maximum pointing error of 0.286896897 degrees or 0.005007 radians. The deviation over time during the calibration can be seen in figure 2.
